Our first hanging basket demonstration and plant sale was a huge success with everyone remarking on the quality of the plants the the huge value from all the tips gained from the demo. We look forward to seeing everyone at our autumn plant demo and plant sale for all your winter pansies for your baskets and containers!!!
With the sad passing of ex Pulse & Ceroc Crew member and dancer Mike Upton, Hearts of Angels have decided to send all of their proceeds from their New Year's Eve raffle to the Treetops Hospice in Risley (http://www.treetopshospice.org.uk/), who helped Mike in his final weeks.

What a fabulous night at our Hearts of Angels charity event - we raised over £300. Many thanks to everyone that turned up and supported our charitable efforts. Thanks also to Horace for DJing and to Karen Kidby for donating the giraffe for the raffle !!! :O)
Hearts of Angels took over the running of The Sunday Lounge, a not for profit company, who donated all the money they raised to good causes in 2013. With the help of Bob Murray, Diane Henderson, Janet McGoldrick and Joan Edwards the Hearts of Angels (Benefit Bar) managed to raise £810 at our Sunday afternoon dances.
What a fab night at our Christmas Charity Freestyle. We raised just over £700 ... with over £165 from Reece the Duck - won by Paul Sharpe. Many thanks to Donna Wright and Janet McGoldrick for doing the buffet, to Lesley Brock and Becky Webb for doing the door and selling the Duck raffle tickets. Thanks also to our fab DJ for the night Horace Evans and to everyone that turned up and made it such a great night :O)
Thanks to everyone who supported us and helped us raise another £350. Thanks to the DJ's Horace Evans, Selwyn and Joan Edwards who all gave their time freely. To Janet McGoldrick who helped with making the buffet and to Angela Bird for her continued support, drive and good ideas. Thanks also to Margaret Bird for selling handbags on ebay for us and raising another £52.

We had a fabulous Charity Freestyle night - raising £1685 - thanks to the 3 DJ's Horace Evans, James Batchelor and Patricia Rookyard for doing a great job. Also to Lesley Brock and Jane Davis for squeezing £245 out of people for the raffle ;O) Thanks to Janet McGoldrick and Becky Webb for doing the buffet and to the Nottingham Meercats for performing on the night and donating their winnings, of £200, from the World Jive Championships. To everyone that donated prizes, money and bought tickets - we thank you - YOU'RE ALL SUPERSTARS !!! ;O)
Thanks to everyone's generosity, help and hard work, we managed to raised £1744 for Hayward House at Jane's Charity Freestyle night. Thanks again to DJ's Nigel John Sandaver, Horace Evans and Kevin Bartlett, Lesley Brock for running the raffle, Angela Bird for organising and providing the buffet (helped by mum !!!) and to everyone that turned out in the wet to make it such a great night of dancing and fund raising ;o)
